Project Overview
Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story is a mobile game spin-off of the critically acclaimed 2011 dark magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Project Mokyuu aims to produce a high-quality English fan-dub for Magia Record’s Arc 2 content, which will likely never receive an official English translation.

This casting call is for the cast of the event "Green Jasper Diviners"
Meet the Tokime Clan, a secretive group living in a remote village in the Japanese countryside. Chiharu discovers she’s part of the clan and is summoned to take part in the mysterious Diviners ceremony. She quickly finds out, though, that things are not as idyllic as they seem. Will she and her new friends be able to escape the tides of fate, or will they drown in the dark secrets of the village?
The named characters in this casting call will reappear in the main story of Magia Record. So, if you are casted for any of these roles, please be aware that voicing a character is a long-term commitment. You will be expected to be on-call for any content in which your character appears. In short, before joining Project Mokyuu, be sure that you have the commitment and responsibility for the role.
*Please note that due to the large number of voice actors needed for casting the Main Story of Magia Record, this casting call also includes characters who do not appear in "Green Jasper Diviners" but will be needed soon. These characters include: Mifuyu Azusa, Momoko Togame, Rena Minami, and Kaede Akino.
If you are selected and accept the role as a named character, you are obligating yourself to a long-term commitment to be this character's voice actor.
Project Mokyuu tries to respect your time and is willing to accommodate VAs when/if life circumstances arise.
The deadline for auditions is December 22nd. Casting decisions will be made public on January 1st, 2023.

Lead | The daughter of the head family of the isolated Tokime Clan, Shizuka is the leader of the group. Naive and unfamiliar with technology, she is still determined to lead the Tokimes as they try to protect the people of the Land of the Rising Sun.

Role type: Lead | A girl from one of the branch families of the Tokime Clan, Sunao is staying with Lady Mikoshiba, the head of the Tokime Clan. She worries a lot, but is considerate and a good listener.

Role Type: Supporting | Ms. Hiroe is determined and caring, even as she is overwhelmed by her new life and daughter’s status as a Diviner (magical girl).

Role type: Supporting | Mrs. Tokime is an accomplished swordswoman and a leader of the Tokime Clan. She is kind and encouraging as the girls figure out their roles as Diviners.

Role Significance: Minor | The main character of Chiharu’s favorite detective show, a wandering detective that solves crime wherever he goes.

Role Significance: Supporting | The current head priestess and leader of the Tokime Clan, she’s been manipulating the clan for her benefit for decades. A subtle manipulator who pretends to be a sweet and caring old lady.

Role Significance: Supporting | Former best friend of Yachiyo, one the protagonists of Magia Record, Mifuyu is an ex leader of the villainous organization known as the Wings of the Magius. Mifuyu dreams of being a normal girl. Although she frequently wavers in her decisions and regrets the past, she is determined to make up for the sins she committed under the Magius. This role is being casted for Mitsune's Magical Girl Side Story and Main Story Chapter 1.
