About Satellah

I've been studying, actively taking classes, and now auditioning. My goal is to be in commercials, e-Learning, and animation/video games. Growing up in Hawaii, there isn't a lot of residents that actually wanted to pursue VO for a living. Since the majority of the population is POC (mostly Asian), a lot of residents constantly want their kids to become like lawyers, doctors, nurse pharmacists, or whatever sexy, high paying job(s). Luckily, I didn't have this pressure to be what my parents tell me and want me to become. With this blessing, I've decided to pursue my career in VO.

While it hasn't been too long since I've join, I'm more than happy to do the best of my ability to not only improve my acting skills and give my best take(s), but also be there for clients in the most professional way relating to VA. I don't have a wide vocal range, but that's okay! As long as I follow directions, ask questions, and focus on my acting skills, it'll be more than enough!

There's still a lot for me to learn about VO especially taking constructive, valid, criticism. Taking critique can feel awesome and at the same time, scary. It's all necessary for my VO journey. I will not be able to improve if I don't take notes and listen back to my audio files from my good, reputable coaches/teachers/instructors. For me to become a better actor, it's best to listen to them since they actually care about my education and are active in the industry.

With all said, I think I'll end it here for now.
