Duet Me Not (5 min short animation)
Project Overview
Introduction:
Hello fellow creators! I'm casting for a short 5-min script animation, DUET ME NOT. It's the story about Norman as he creates his piano piece, he must also deal with the distraction of his neighbor, Enzo, who is a violinist.

Information:
I'm currently working on this project for my directing class as a film student. I'm very excited to finally have a chance to create my own short film and gave more experience through collaboration of those who would love to join the team!
If you are just starting out, I would love to continue this project and move forward with you! This project will be post on my schools official reel, but you have credit to be used with your own reels .
Major roles: payment will be between $15-50 for the project.
Auditions and Deadlines:
The deadline for auditions is April 19, 2022. There are no plans for extension, and I will send out final cast April 20, 2022. The deadline for voice recording will be May 5, 2022. For animators, May 19, 2022. Music Composition May 10, 2022.
What to Expect:
-We are a team! This is a growing experience for everyone as well as a way to connect with other creators.
-Remember to have fun!
-Main communications will be through discord and payments through PayPal!

Norman is an old grump that values his own time. He is very passionate about piano.
There are not many lines to his character but a couple of grunting, humming and noise of frustration.
The main location of the story is set in San Fransisco.

In this position, you must develop concept art for two main locations set place in San Fransisco, Norman's Apartment, Enzo's Balcony, Norman's Balcony, Inside Music Shop, and Outside.
I would also like at least two versions of both character, Norman (50) and Enzo (25-30) [Race Neutral]
Norman is a bit of an old short grump. Loves playing the violin.
Enzo is more of a lively, tall and lean.
