Lloyd the Monkey 3: Judgement Day
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone. This casting call is for Lloyd the Monkey 3: Judgement Day, the third installment of the Lloyd the Monkey video game series. We'll be casting for the English cast (though depending on resources, we'll open the board for dub auditions), and the majority of roles will be open. The important thing to remember is to have fun with your audition.
For main roles, we're offering a rate between $30 to $70 based on the extent of the character's presence in the project, and we intend to credit you in the game and on webpages related to the game.
OVERVIEW
Two years have passed since Lloyd and Lura defeated Kronos and his Dark Gorillas, seemingly once and for all, and the duo have gone their seperate ways. However, the villain Scholz is ripping his way through countless lives in order to complete a decade-spanning plan to conquer the universe once and for all. The final battle is about to begin, and the blood shed at the end of it all will sow the seeds of a new beginning.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline is April 30, 2023. We don't intend to extend the deadline at the moment. In addition, we're hoping to have the game ready for release in 2024 so we're going to need all lines turned in by November 2023.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We aim to be punctual and communicative with all actors. Communication will be done through Discord, so we will require actors to sign up for it. Once you're in, you're part of a team where you'll get to interact with co-stars who will share experience and knowledge with you.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Most importantly, have fun. No raw talent can make up for a lack of passion.
- Submit clean recordings. (No air conditioners or fans)
- Feel feel to cut down your lines to your best takes. Ideally three, but more works too.
- Submit your recordings to our email address, which we will provide once you're cast. We'd prefer one file for every scene your characters are in. We'll pick the best takes and edit them into the game ourselves.
- We would prefer to cast actors who are committed to sticking around for other projects, including downloadable content, sequels and unrelated productions.

MAIN ROLE
The hero of the Amazon, a swordweilding monkey who has at this point gone on two adventures and prevailed against the forces of darkness twice. In addition to facing the strongest opponent he's ever fought, this third installment sees him gripping with a future he doesn't believe he's ready for.

MAIN ROLE
Princess of the planet Grecia, and a powerful mage. Since the events of Lloyd the Monkey 2, she has become more powerful, and confident in herself. Her acceptance of her role as heir apparent drives her to put herself on the line for her kingdom, but she still seeks her own happiness.

SECONDARY ROLE
Lura's mother, queen of Grecia. A hard-working (sometimes to her detriment) ruler who allows her children to show agency and act on behalf of the kingdom's best interests.

One of Lura's attendants, currently in a relationship with the other attendant Abigail. She's eager to help out any way she can, but is also more than comfortable letting her partner take the reins when not on the clock.

MAIN ROLE
The main villian, a fallen solider who stole knowledge of dark magic from the Grecian royal family in order to usurp the throne and destroy all those he deems unworthy. He is the walking definition of bigotry, someone the heroes can't listen to for two minutes without wanting to punch him in the face.

SECONDARY ROLE
The former heir apparent to the Grecian throne, who disappeared in a fight for the control of the planet. Most believe him to have passed, and given the secrets he carries, he'd prefer to keep it that way.
Octavius is a serious man who chooses to do the right thing, but is also wise beyond his years and worn out by his unique circumstances. This leads to a man who pulls no punches even with his allies. Prior vocal interpertations were evocative of David Hayter's performance as Solid Snake and Jason Griffith's reprisal of Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic & Tails R.

SECONDARY ROLE
One of Lura's two personal attendants, in a relationship with the other attendant Noel. She is committed to her work, but is quite willing to tease her lady about her love life. Being from further east on the planet Grecia than Lura, she should have an accent that can bounce off of Noel's French accent but isn't exactly the same.

(Serious, but relieved) ...Thank God you guys managed to get Noel to safety. I’d hate to think what I’d do if she had gotten killed.
SECONDARY ROLE (pronounced ree-lah-sah-reh)
Princess Lura's loyal boyfriend who would (and has) put his own career goals aside and go the other side of the galaxy to watch over her. That doesn't stop him from being a little dense when Lura starts getting cryptic about what she wants for their future.

SECONDARY ROLE
A recent hire for the royal family, Shiori serves a role similar to the Navigators from the Mega Man X games, explaining the locations and stakes to Lura, and due to her lack of familiarity on the subject, can recieve exposition about relevant magic.

SECONDARY ROLE
Lloyd's brother who works for the Prime Minister. He uses his position to serve as mission control when trouble arises near Earth, though he can also be a bit of a gadfly, much to the annoyance of those who don't know him that well.

The Prime Minister of Amazonia, who comes to Lloyd to request his aid with the Scholz situation. Despite his goofy appearance (being a sock monkey and all), he presents himself as a trustworthy leader who is willing to offer his assistance when needed.
