Sonic the Hedgehog - Mobius: 25 Years Later COMIC DUB! (Issues 166 & 167)
Project Overview
Have you ever wondered what happened to Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends in Knothole after Eggman's defeat? Well, 25 years later, Sonic and Sally are married and are king and queen of Mobius, with kids of their own, and everyone is happy. However, due to wacky goings-on in the space-time continuum, King Sonic must risk everything to save the world as we know it! He succeeds, but at a hefty price, writing himself out of existence for a time.
The time is now. In Sonic's absence, Sally has married Shadow, making him king and causing him to rule with an iron fist. Sonic and Sally's children are no more, and Sonic finds himself completely homeless and alone. Now, it's up to him to set things right. Teaming up with his old friend Miles "Tails" Prower, and Lara-Su, daughter of Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic must stand up to King Shadow, take back the throne, and set things right! Will he succeed?
This will be a dub based on the two issues Ian Flynn wrote, bypassing the dull, dialogue-heavy issues Ken Penders did. I've already got several characters cast, but there are still several roles that need to be filled. These are mostly non-game characters, so feel free to put your own spin on them!

As a young fox, Miles Prower, also known as Tails, was always by Sonic's side as his best friend and sidekick. Now 33 years old, Miles is married with a family of his own, whom he managed to protect from the space-time rift. He has been estranged from Sonic, but longs to reconcile with the one he called his brother for so long. Though significantly older in years, Miles is just as bright and sharp as ever, with brains that far surpass what Robotnik could have dreamed to be. As far as voices go, try to go for a young man's voice that is slightly nerdy, but with plenty of heart and soul behind it.
(serious) This isn't right. I have to round up the old "Triple Threat". We need to do damage control.
(sympathetic) I'm sorry, Sonic. We can't risk turning back time again. I hate that you had to pay such a high price for saving us all.
(smirking, slightly sarcastic) Yep. You, me, and a prison that will surely lead to our end.
The daughter of Knuckles the Echidna, this spunky 16 year old shares her father's stubbornness and his temper, but also his heart and eagerness to help those she cares about. She doesn't always agree with her father, which leads to them frequently butting heads, but she loves him all the same, knowing he shares the feeling. Knowing there's a separate world that existed, Lara-Su teams up with Miles to find Sonic, the rightful king, and restore the kingdom. As far as voices go, go for a young, teenage girl voice that's both fierce and kind-hearted.
(serious) I remember stowing away to the Badlands. I don't know what happened here -- then -- but I have memories of friends and things that aren't here anymore. I know things aren't quite right, and as Guardian, I want to fix them.
(optimistic, slightly snarky) Even my dad isn't so melodramatic! Come on! We can still fix things!
(fiery) I did what was right and you know it! I won't apologize or ask forgive-- (interrupted)
Ruthless, sadistic, selfish, and downright cruel, Lien-Da is the leader of the Dark Legion. An arch rival of Sonic's and Knuckles' for years, she is now King Shadow's right-hand woman, and helps him rule Mobius with an iron fist. For her voice, try to sound older and yet femme-fatale material, sort of like Mother Gothel from "Tangled".
(proudly) Don't thank me, King Shadow. Thank Cobor. He designed it for me. Once I caught him and Rotor conspiring in the other time-line.
(gleefully) Oh-ho! This is too good to be true. It looks like little Lara-Su is running around with the wrong crowd!
(self-righteous) Give it a rest, Dimitri. This is the way things are now. The only three who could change things are now locked away.
Once a key member of the Freedom Fighters, Rotor is calm, easy-going, and has a way with machines. He was integral to Sonic's mission to save the space-time continuum. Since then, he has tried to set things right himself, and has been arrested and spending time tortured in King Shadow's dungeon. While not much older than Sonic and his friends, years of hardships have taken their toll on him. Do your best to sound worn out and hopeless.
(hopeless) How can you all joke at a time like this? King Shadow will show us no mercy. There is no hope for any of us now.
(impressed and grateful) You have your father's strength.
