Transformers: WINDBLADE [Comic Dub] Part One

Project Overview

Who is Windblade, where did she come from, and what does her secret mean for the future of the Transformers? She is a force for good, who never fails to do the right thing. But what happens when she's forced to work with the Decepticon Starscream to recruit new colonies to the Council of Worlds?

This fan-based project is a Comic Dub of the Transformers: WINDBLADE comic. It will be separated into several parts and will be published onto YouTube as a series.

I welcome all VA's to try out for a role, whether you are experienced or not. This project is merely for fun, created by a longtime TF fan :) If you have any questions, feel free to reach out by messaging me!

Please read if you are considering a submission/audition!

1. This is not a paid project at this time. Depending on project success, I will consider paying talent!

2. You MUST be willing to commit to this project until completion. If you require an absence during the project, do let me know as this can be arranged. However, I will not accept being ghosted or ineffective time management. So please make sure this project is something you can and are willing to commit to for a while!

3. If you are auditioning for a character, it would be preferred that you have a good-quality microphone and a quiet environment to record your lines in. If you don't, that is also okay, but do ensure you can record your lines with the best possible quality!

4. Please provide your discord and email when submitting an application!

5. We all have our busy lives to attend to and I myself am still studying, so do keep in mind this is purely a project for fun and to give back to all the Transformers fans out there!

  • Auditions Closed for PART ONE! + PART TWO Auditions

    Hi everyone,

    I'd like to give a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to audition for this project. I seriously cannot thank you all enough, I am eternally grateful for your interest! The roles for the first part of this comic dub project have been cast and will be moving forward to production.

    However, I wanted to let you all know that more auditions for the next batch of characters in the next part of the comic dub will be up sometime in the coming months! Fan favorites Optimus Prime, Wheeljack, Mirage, and more are coming up! So do keep a look out for those :)

    Again, a massive thank you to everyone who auditioned, and I hope to see you in the next round of auditions!

Windblade's bodyguard, and best friend. She's tough-as-nails and will do anything to protect her friend. She doesn't take BS from anyone and gets straight to the point. But at times, she can crack a joke here and there, when the time calls for it. 


I am looking for a voice similar to TFP's Arcee if you'd like a reference. However, this is not mandatory.

He's the new ruler of Cybertron. He prides himself on how others view him, even though he doesn't have the best intentions for his planet. He loves power, and now that he's got it, he intends to keep it that way no matter the cost. 


For Starscream's voice reference, G1/TFP is ideal! However not mandatory.

He's fought in the war, he's getting older, but he's still a skilled and determined warrior. He knows Cybertron remains in danger, and will only help those he knows have good in their sparks. 


No specific reference for Ironhide, but I'd like to think he's matured a lot and definitely sounds more worn down.

He's just a bot minding his own business, most of the time. He does get scared quite easily but can be loyal if treated civilly.


No reference for Waspi, but he is a bug, so have fun playing with that hehe :)

He's Starscreams right-hand man, and will pretty much do whatever his boss asks of him. He can be sinister when needed, in the end he really just wants to impress.


No voice reference, I'm aiming for his voice to be cunning but almost as if he has no clue what he's doing sometimes.

He's a chill guy, working as a bartender at one of Cybertron's well-known bars. He is up-to-date with the latest news and information, and he's a reliable bot to turn to. 


No specific voice reference, I'd like to think of Blurr as a relatively young bot still trying to figure out his way in life.

He can be a bit grumpy at times, but he has good intentions at his spark. Fighting in a war changes bots, and Slug knows what that's like. 


No reference for him, but I'd imagine him to be similar to Ironhide, a worn down bot with good humour.
