Started down this VO path back in early 2020 and have changed myself in so doing, digging myself out from under decades of trauma and just as many years of solid, non-stop dissociation. Through VO, I have found myself and I've been using the craft as a steam shovel to continue unearthing this greatest of mysteries. The shadows on the cave wall no longer hold any power over me and because I'm growing more into my genuine me every day, my access to my own creativity and talent grows apace.

Seriously, people. You aren't your passing thoughts or your list of likes/dislikes. What you are is a buried temple of complexities that is far deeper and more nuanced than you can imagine, and unless you dig that temple up and explore it with honest intentions to better yourself and face your fears, you'll only ever see the apex and you'll never discover the well of your talent.

I am a 22-year-old currently a Uni Student studying at Victoria University Wellington with a BA in film and theatre. I am looking for some gigs I can do to add to my portfolio. I am very serious about succeeding in voice acting but need somewhere to start so I am very willing to do small gigs for free. I have studied in Australia and received a certificate IV in stage and scene acting (one step lower than a degree) and completed it before finishing school. 

My voice is naturally higher pitch (and can manipulate my voice quite a bit for different requirements) with a slight mix of Australian and New Zealand accent. I can easily do British accents and can also do American/Canadian.

I do poetry reads to keep up my skill because I tend to find that reading poetry well allows for better range of expression in a more compact package, so it's good for practice.Im also a contributing voice to the audio drama "Strange New Worlds & Spaced Out Tales" anthology, with various roles from lead hero to extra old man, and everything in between![Background] - Having almost 10 years in choral singing and gregorian chant has helped me focus on voice control and my poetry and script reads have helped me keep up with whats out there.
