Hello! I am a former soldier turned farmer, (a real "swords to plowshares" situation) but my biggest passion is talking nonstop, whether or not people want to hear it! I get a kick out of reading for fun, but I really love to read to inform in an engaging, humorous way that people actually want to remember. I have a lot of experience in narrating power point presentations, (Thanks, Uncle Sam) and quite literally entertaining the troops. I take great pride in reading to my kids, and I insist on doing "all the voices" in my attempts to make them laugh their heads off/scare the crap out of them. Whatever the story requires, you know? Howdy! I'm Kelsey Virginia (or Kelsey V), I'm a voice actress from Dallas, TX.
I've been voice acting since I was 8 on and off. When I was younger, I used to make silly YouTube videos and participate in the Fanime community. I moved onto bigger projects as I got older but stopped pursuing my dreams in my early 20s to focus on things I was told are the "right" thing to do. After years of suffering through exhaustive schooling and jobs I didn't like, my passion remained. I would even tell people "I'm a voice actress", even though I hadn't recorded anything in years at that point.
This year, I stopped forcing myself to do things I hate. I realized that life is meant to be enjoyed and suffering through hardship is not a virtue but a sign of a society that values labor over humanity.
I'm now pursuing voice acting full-time and am excited to commit myself to my career moving forwar...
